Netflix "Leo" — Animal Logic

Leo is an animated feature film produced by Animal Logic for Netflix — a comedy about a 74-year-old class pet lizard who escapes and discovers it's never too late to find adventure. I joined the production team as a 3D Generalist, contributing to the clothing simulation pipeline.

Working within a production-scale pipeline meant collaborating closely with riggers, look dev, and FX teams to ensure cloth behaved correctly across a wide range of character poses and movement profiles. The challenge was maintaining simulation quality while hitting render budgets — finding the right trade-off between fidelity and cost is as much a craft as the simulation itself.

Being part of a world-class team at this scale taught me a lot about working inside a large production infrastructure: how departments hand work off to each other, how problems compound upstream, and how much care goes into the seemingly invisible details that make a film feel alive.
