Earthling Quest
A living map of Earth's health. Earthling Quest aggregates citizen science data from iNaturalist, Global Forest Watch, and other open environmental datasets into a single explorable interface — a planetary dashboard that makes the scale of ecological change legible without making it hopeless.
The key idea is the impact receipt: contributors who log observations or take conservation actions get a visible record of what their data has fed into — species sightings that changed a protection boundary, forest cover reports that triggered intervention. Making contribution feel meaningful is as important as the data itself.
This is the project I build toward. It sits at the center of everything I care about: science communication, ecological data, and technology that exists in service of the planet. Currently in active development — the WebGL globe layer is furthest along.
